Following the successful moon landing of Chandrayaan-3, the members of the indian space research organisation (ISRO) team and the Chandrayaan-3 team took a moment to pay tribute to the effort and dedication that went into making india the first country to land on the lunar south pole. With the milestone of Chandrayaan-3's landing on the moon, prime minister Modi congratulated the nation. "We are witnessing the birth of a new India." A fresh chapter in history has begun, he said.

As the Lander Module (LM) of ISRO's ambitious third moon mission Chandrayaan-3 touched down on the lunar surdata-face, india made history. It was the first nation to reach the unexplored south pole of Earth's only natural satellite and only the fourth nation to accomplish the feat.
