No evidence of molestation of BJP woman candidate - Police chief denies
The panchayat election was held on the 8th of Panchala village of Howrah district of West Bengal. A female candidate contesting on behalf of bjp filed a complaint at the local police station.

In this regard, State police Department (DGP) Manoj Malaviya told reporters the day before yesterday that: On the 13th, the bjp sent a complaint to the Superintendent of police of Howrah district via email. In it, it was said that some people forcibly pushed out the bjp woman candidate from the Panchla polling center on the 8th and tore her clothes. On this, the concerned police station was ordered to register a first information report and conduct an investigation.
In the investigation conducted by the police in this regard, it has been revealed that there is no evidence of the incident mentioned in the complaint. When the incident took place, the police and the Central army were present. They also did not report the incident. And we are continuously informing the victim to appear before the judge and record a statement regarding this incident.
But he has not yet appeared in person. We have requested the details of those who were injured during the attack. There is no answer to this yet. He said this.
