Shivdas meena has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of tamil Nadu. Shivdas Meena, who holds the responsibility of Municipal Administration Department Secretary, has been appointed as the 49th Chief Secretary of tamil Nadu.

In 1998, Sivdas Meena, who was the managing director of the transport department, was appointed as the collector of Nagapattinam district. After serving three years as collector of Nagapattinam, he was appointed as Additional Registrar of Registration Department in 2001.
Sivdas meena has also served as director, Food Department, Higher education Department, Commercial Tax Department, chennai Drinking Water Board.
In 2015, Sivdas meena was appointed as Principal Secretary, Cooperatives and Food Department. Shivdas Meena, who was transferred to the central government in 2017, has served as Additional Secretary, Housing and Chairman, Central pollution Control Board.
Shivdas Meena, who was brought back to tamil Nadu after the DMK came to power, has been serving as the Principal Secretary of the Municipal Administration Department in the capacity of Additional Chief Secretary, and has now been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of tamil Nadu.
