Attack on Bhim Army chief is a caste crime: Pa Ranjith condemns
In Deoband Nagar, saharanpur District, Uttar Pradesh, BIM army Chief chandrasekhar azad Ravan was traveling in a car yesterday evening (June 28) when miscreants in another car fired at Azad's car and escaped. azad was admitted to hospital with minor injuries. Doctors say he is fine.
In this case, director Pa. Ranjith has condemned this attack. In this regard, on his twitter page, he said, "The firing on azad in broad daylight is a caste crime. Ambedkar thinker azad, who has been giving a strong voice against the caste injustices in the country. Especially in Uttar Pradesh where Dalit community is large, azad has been recording his voice against the violence against them.
Azad was a political figure. It's blatant casteism when he is showered with bullets. A sign of deteriorating law and order in the state.
The chief minister of Uttar Pradesh should investigate the incident on priority. The police department should conduct a thorough investigation. I urge the police to arrest the caste fanatic gun thugs immediately. Also, I wish my brother azad a speedy recovery."
