Police Complaint filed against Vijay..!?
A social activist has complained to the chennai police Commissioner that action should be taken against actor Vijay as per the Narcotics Control Act section as the songs of actor Vijay's film Leo encourage youths to become addicted to drugs and encourage rowdyism. Actor Vijay's movie Leo will release in October. While most of the scenes of the film have been completed, the first song of the film Leo was released on the occasion of Vijay's birthday. In the scene of this song, Naa Ready song many of the lyrics seem to be manipulating the youths to drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes. Also, this song features a scene of dancing while holding a cigarette. In this situation, social activist Selvam from the Korukuppet area of chennai has filed a complaint regarding the song of the upcoming movie Leo starring actor Vijay. Actor Vijay has lodged a complaint online with the police saying that the song, which is widely shared on social media, promotes drug addiction and creates rowdyism.
The cm of tamil Nadu had said that legal action would be taken against officials and people who support drugs and dereliction of duty in preventing drugs. Therefore, the social activist has filed a complaint through online that action should be taken against the actor Vijay as per the section of the Narcotics Prevention Act and the people who released the song in support of this should also be taken according to law.
For the past few days, the top police officers have been conducting drug awareness programs across Chennai. In this situation, the song has now gone viral and has become an incitement among the youth to use drugs, the complaint has also stated. He also said that he will file a case in court demanding action against actor Vijay.
