Magic Road, Can Happen Only In Vizag!

S Venkateshwari
Due to the state's inadequate road management system, the ycp administration has been taking a lot of fire. In Andhra Pradesh, there are several concerns right now concerning the state of the roads. Recently, a shockingly shoddy occurrence occurred in Vizag, which is amusing both the locals and online users. The narrative begins with the government recently constructing a road in Vizag's Abidnagar neighbourhood. There are many bare areas on the road because the road-laying construction was done so very haphazardly.
The vehicles that were parked on the roadside by the workmen weren't even moved. The area where automobiles and motorcycles were parked on the road was just left after they had poured it on the already-existing road. As a result, there are now areas where the old, broken road is still visible between the parked cars. Such was the level of negligence displayed by the government throughout the course of a significant road rehabilitation project.

These dishonest actions may possibly damage the reputation of the ycp administration given that elections are just around the corner. With 250 to 300 new cars arriving on Vizag's roads every day, the city appears to be headed for a traffic jam. Already, there are 14 lakh automobiles on city roadways, 75% of which are two-wheelers. In the previous ten years, the number of vehicles doubled. The average speed of cars during peak hours has decreased to about 20 kmph due to the increase in the number of vehicles.
