To this crown of glory, another stone has been added to it. In the book released by the Center for Science and Environment on the occasion of World Environment Day, telangana was ranked in the top place. telangana is leading in municipal waste management with an increased percentage of forests.
The Center for Science and Environment (CSE) has now studied the present situation in all the states and also in the Union Territories of the country. Only the area of forests is not considered.
