The movie begins with regina cassandra in a deserted library looking for a Fiction book and finds out 'Karungaapiyam'. She begins to read the story and was surprised as the events have unfolded in the present era. However, the author of the book has written it 100 years back and she was shocked at how the author predicted the future.
The First Story belongs to Raiza Wilson and her story was a bit intriguing and glued us to our seats. However, after that, the entire story took a detour and fall apart. Janani's story never worked any bit. yogi Babu's cameo in Janani's story was a blink-and-miss. Lollu Sabha Manohar's story evoked a few laughs but never gave enough scares as it should. The Alien story was completely alienated as it never struck a chord with emotions or the scary part.
The entire second half belongs to 'Wonder Woman' Kajal Aggarwal. As a woman from the pre-independence era, she has done a remarkable job. Whatever she writes turns out to be a reality and the villagers think she is a witch. She was even forced to have sex with everyone in the village and she was helpless at one point in time. As the story unfolds, we realize the witch isn't real and it's all a made-up story. However, kajal aggarwal is stoned to death.
Kajal Aggarwal's own daughter watches her having sex with a stranger and she is angry with her own mother and the emotions were carried well in that portion. john vijay and Aadhav Kannadasan did a decent job and we really wished the entire movie was shot with kajal aggarwal itself. There's nothing special to rave about technicalities. The movie was shot during the lockdown and it has been more than 2 years since the lockdown ended the movie gives a feel of going back in a time machine. The movie ends with an open door for a sequel in an intriguing note. But we know that's never gonna happen!
Overall, You can watch this for Kajal Aggarwal..!
