CM Not Happy With This Movie Trailer

SIBY JEYYA
Pinarayi Vijayan, the chief minister of kerala, has voiced his displeasure with the teaser for the upcoming film "The kerala Story." Vijayan claims that the movie is intended to incite hatred and create racial tensions against the government. The plot of the film centers on the disappearance of 32,000 Keralan women who are alleged to have joined extremist groups in iraq and Syria.

According to Vijayan, the bogus claims of "love jihad" that have been disproven by investigative authorities, courts, and the Union home Ministry serve as the basis for the film's premise. The chief minister charged the Sangh Parivar with disseminating these misconceptions and attempting to undermine the state's climate of religious harmony. Additionally, he exhorted the people of kerala to reject such efforts at racial and ethnic division and to be vigilant against false information. The film will debut on May 5, 2023.

According to Mr. Vijayan, the hindi movie's trailer looks to have been "deliberately produced" with the intention of fomenting racial tension and disseminating anti-government propaganda. He claimed that even if the MHA, courts, and investigation agencies had all dismissed the "love jihad" issue, it was still being brought up in connection with kerala as the film's central conceit in order to defame the state in front of the international community.

In a statement, the chief minister claimed that these "propaganda films" and the alienation of Muslims they portray should be seen in the context of Sangh Parivar's attempts to advance politically in Kerala.
