According to reports appearing in one area of the media, the response appears to be yes. In a private meeting on Monday, jagan allegedly discussed the potential for soon dissolving the state legislature with State governor S Abdul Nazir.
The chief minister, who is travelling to New delhi on Wednesday, is anticipated to inform the prime minister of his plans. jagan is travelling to New delhi for the second occasion in the past two weeks. Up until recently, jagan and the leaders of his party had categorically ruled out the possibility of having early elections in the state. elections will take place in april or May of next year, according to senior officials like Sajjala ramakrishna Reddy.
However, it is believed that the chief minister changed his approach as a result of the recent MLC elections in graduate-majority districts and the increasing rebellion within the party. The party has also come to the realisation that there is a strong likelihood that the opposition tdp will make ground over the next few months. The tdp general secretary Nara Lokesh's padayatra and Pawan Kalyan's planned bus yatra could amplify the anti-incumbency forces.

Jagan might have thought it would be better to call early elections so that the party has a strong chance of winning back power in order to deny the opposition such a chance and also to stop any further internal harm in the YSRC. There are also rumours that jagan was advised to choose early polls by Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and telangana chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao in order to solidify his position of power in Andhra. Let's see how far these rumours pan out.
