chandrababu naidu is the mastermind behind the Rs 371 crore scandal of the
ap State Skill Development Corporation, according to the
criminal Investigation Department of the
andhra pradesh police. In order to pull off the complete scam, the skill development project was administered under the Siemens Company's name,
government monies were illegally released, and senior authorities were put under pressure. By the use of hawala and shell businesses, the money was transferred to the leaders of the
telugu Desam Party's accounts.
The CID claimed to have questioned three senior officials who had significant positions in the previous administration during the execution of this operation. According to them, they had carried out the money distribution to the shell businesses in accordance with Naidu's instructions. A project worth Rs 3,300 crore was reportedly suggested under the German
business Siemens Industrial
software India Ltd. for that reason, according to an official statement from the state government. In reality, Siemens'
corporate headquarters were unaware of this effort.
In the course of that scheme, Chandrababu met with
suman Bose, the MD of Siemens, and Vikas Kanwilkar, the MD of Design Tech. In exchange for a 10%
government contribution, Siemens and Design Tech have agreed to contribute 90% of the funding. "The MD, Ganta Subbarao, and K Lakshminarayana, a former IAS officer and the
director of APSSDC at the time, both played significant roles in this scam. Naidu's close buddy Lakshminarayana, it stated.
