The state administration was criticised by telangana governor tamilisai soundararajan on monday for honouring a lawmaker who had 'insulted and humiliated' her. The governor attacked the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) administration led by K. chandrasekhar Rao during a speech during a celebration of international Women's Day held at raj Bhavan. She didn't mention anyone by name, but it was clear that she was making a reference to P. kaushik Reddy's nomination as the government whip in the Legislative Council.

"It is terribly depressing. Even the highest-ranking female official has endured mockery and degradation. The person who degrades the highest office is rewarded, and the highest office is ridiculed and degraded. They have communicated this to the people of telangana "She spoke. "It's quite regrettable. What message are we sending to Telangana's women if we garland someone who throws stones at a woman? "It was her.

"It isn't me. I support everyone. I will be there for them if they are suffering if they are a woman, a girl child, or a person. There are so many ladies with me when I'm being insulted. I appreciate that. I'm standing in this place as a very powerful person because you're all here with me "She informed the audience. Due to the governor's refusal to sign the bills that the state administration had forwarded to her for approval, kaushik Reddy had made disparaging statements against her. Commenting that the governor was purposefully delaying action on the bills, he expressed profanity. On january 26, a video clip showing kaushik Reddy uttering the derogatory telugu phrase quickly gained popularity online.
