Aavin green packet milk will be stopped..!?
Aavin company is introducing a new type of milk called cow Milk today (March 1) to overcome the shortage of milk. For the past few days, there has been a shortage of cow's milk in the tirunelveli, tenkasi, and Thoothukudi districts. To deal with this situation, Aavin's side is launching a new type of milk called cow Milk from today. Aavin company will reduce the milk fat content of green packets to 3.5 percent. It has announced that a liter of milk will be sold at Rs 22.50. Due to the shortage of milk, green packets contain 4.5 percent fat content and this step is taken to reduce the shortage. It is said that the action has been taken after continuous complaints of shortage of cow's milk due to a lack of procurement in the tirunelveli and Thoothukudi districts.
For the past few days, people have been complaining about various problems in the supply of cow's milk in the Tuticorin district. Milk supply has been completely stopped in many parts of the Tuticorin district. This caused great dissatisfaction among the people. Dairy minister Nasser who got the information held a consultation meeting in this regard. What is the cause of the milk shortage in this consultation meeting? The problems including how to fix them were discussed. Speaking to the media, minister Nasser said that Milk is not available in some places in the Thoothukudi district. We have fixed that. There is a shortage of milk in india during this period. 26,000 liters of milk is procured and distributed in the district. This shortage is due to the climatic conditions that occur every year. It should be fixed. Let's do it. Actions are being taken to procure additional milk. It is a false allegation to say that the quantity of milk is low. Milk is distributed only after three types of inspection. It is sent for sale after inspection by quality control food control and Avin engineers. There is no possibility of a shortage of quantity due to any reason. The purchase price has also been increased to Rs.35. Aavin is a separate brand. The milk is supplied without any adulteration. Aavin is not a commercial entity. It is for public service. It is running, he said.
A total of 76,000 liters of milk is procured in the Nellai district and 40,000 liters in the Tuticorin district. But in Nellai, Thoothukudi, and tenkasi districts, a total of more than 85 thousand liters of cow's milk is required. The reason for this shortcoming is that the private sector is buying at a high price, according to Aavin. It has also been reported that there is a loss due to the green Aavin packets, and to rectify this, Aavin will sell cow milk from today.
