Three Heroines Hugely Wasted By Waltair Veerayya
As a relationship manager in a hotel, shruti haasan is actually given a good role. However, it is later discovered that she is actually a RAA agent. The character will just appear in a scene before the scene changes to a song; it won't have any larger scenes or battle sequences. It goes without saying that this is the shortest role she has ever played in a telugu commercial movie.
Cut to another heroine, catherine Tresa, who plays Raviteja's wife but receives no strong dialogue or intensely moving scenes outside of one scene where she sobs. She doesn't have any lengthy sequences or anything else that would showcase her best qualities. Despite her fame as a model for commercials, she fulfilled a traditional function in this.
Cut to the item song, Boss Party, where Miss india starlet urvashi rautela just makes a fleeting appearance before the song ends without giving her role any resolution. The likes of silk smitha in Mutamestri used to get a lead scene that really worked, but urvashi was denied the opportunity here. Overall, three prominent heroines—at least one of them is a star heroine—were utterly wasted in weakly written parts with insufficient screen time.
