According to the most recent report from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Children's Hospital Association, about 48,000 child Covid-19 cases were recorded in the US in the week ending december 22, marking the third consecutive weekly increase in kid cases.

Coronavirus - India is expected to be affected by the new wave of coronavirus Cases around the world. The government is taking every step to stop this, but meanwhile the news coming from America has created concern. During the latest wave in America, Covid-19 infection has been shown to spread rapidly in children. 

According to the latest report, since december 1 in the US, corona infection has been found in an average of 48,000 children every week. Although the rate of corona infection among children in America has been increasing since the beginning of the epidemic. After the increasing infection rate in American children, the question is arising whether children in india are also going to be at risk from this? Adults in india are said to be safe due to hybrid immunity.

Although the pandemic has had an immediate impact on children's health, the AAP emphasised the need to identify and treat any longer-term repercussions on the physical, mental, and social well-being of this generation of children and youth.
