Janhvi Kapoor opens on the BIG CONNECTION
Janhvi explains why she connects with the South so quickly: "I genuinely think I'm more Aippan than I am Kapoor. In Dharan, I experience security and comfort. I just feel like this person I like the most the moment I meet someone who is South Indian, has that accent, or speaks that language. My very best friend is this individual. I believe that the qualities I find most endearing in South indians are modesty, humility, dignity, respect, humour, and talent.
I haven't seen many of her original works, says Janhvi, recalling times spent with her mother Sridevi. She was always present while we watched movies at home. She also used to detest looking in the mirror. Thus, "ayyo ayyo change change" would play whenever her song or film appeared. As a result, we didn't watch many of her movies. "She (Sridevi) was 13 when she was the heroine to fathers and 21 when she was the heroine to sons," she said of her mother's relationships with both elder stars and their offspring.
Although it was entirely incorrect, that is how things were in the past and she predicts the same might turn around in the future as well.
