Corona certificate mandatory for devotees coming to Tirupati..!?
The tirumala tirupati Devasthanam has announced that the devotees who come for special darshan on the occasion of Vaikunda Ekadesi must bring proof of 2 doses of corona vaccination or a certificate of no corona. On the occasion of Vaikunda Ekadasi, the gates of heaven will be open for 10 consecutive days from the day of Ekadesi in tirumala Tirupati. Generally, as per the current situation, about 60 thousand to 80 thousand devotees are visiting Swami in tirupati every day. The number of devotees to Ekadesi is expected to increase further.
In this situation, the central government has requested that the state governments should take appropriate preventive measures to protect themselves from the coronavirus that is spreading rapidly in various countries. Accordingly, corona prevention measures are being taken in various areas. The reservation tickets for the special darshan on the occasion of Vaikunda Ekadesi were released this morning.
Devotees coming with tickets for special darshan should bring proof of corona vaccination. Those who do not have proof of vaccination must bring a corona-free certificate within 48 hours of coming to the temple. The tirumala Devasthanam Board has announced that devotees who come without a certificate will not be allowed for darshan.
