Merupu Murali – This Is Why Remake Is Not Happening

If a malayalam movie becomes a box office smash, telugu producers immediately start planning to remake it in this country. Alternatively, some heroes are dispatching the producers to buy the rights to certain films. In recent years, after blockbuster box office successes like Bro Daddy, Hrudayam, and Thallumaala, that is what happened.
Tovino Thomas' "Minnal Murali," which was advertised as "Merupu Murali" in the telugu states, is one movie that has yet to be recreated or didn't enter the tollywood remake production pipeline. While many telugu movie fans now favour the original version that was made available on Netflix, no hero or production company has yet to buy the rights to this film.
Director Basil Joseph, who carved Minnal Murali, stated that they didn't sell the remake rights, which is why there isn't a remake happening when promoting his most recent movie, "Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey," in which he played a hero. "We want murali to be the Keralan superhero, and we only want tovino thomas to play that role. That's why we decided against selling the remake rights because a sequel is on the way, according to the director. The news of the Minnal murali sequel is undoubtedly exciting for moviegoers, but it's also encouraging to know that no remakes will be allowed, unlike Spiderman and other Marvel superhero flicks.
