TDP may form grand alliance in AP, will BJP join it?
However, recent rumours circulating in Andhra political circles claim that the coalition will not be limited to just two parties and that additional parties may join as well. According to sources, the Aam Admi party, led by former IAS officer and ex-MLA Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan, and Lok Satta, led by former cbi joint director V. V. Lakshminarayana, are both expressing interest in joining the coalition. However, neither of these parties — AAP nor Lok Satta — wants any representation in the assembly. As part of seat sharing, they desire a few seats for the lok sabha elections.
While JD Lakshminarayana is interested in running for the AAP from the Visakhapatnam parliamentary constituency, Jayaprakash Narayan is interested in running for the lok sabha from the vijayawada parliamentary constituency. As a result, there would be a grand coalition of four parties. However, the bharatiya janata party, which already partners with the Jana Sena party, is a concern. As Pawan hinted at the other day, the Jana Sena may cut ties with the saffron party because it hasn't offered a strategy for taking down the Y S jagan Mohan reddy administration. The bjp is eager to keep the current coalition with Pawan, though.
