Nani’s Dasara Did Rs 100 Cr Business Already?
There is a rumour going around that "Dasara" has concluded its run, and the producer is unconcerned about the close to 50 crores of investment being made in the film, despite the fact that a new filmmaker is directing it. The film is claimed to have fetched an extraordinary OTT deal that is more over 30 crores after the first look and other movie tidbits were made public. The movie's rights in other languages are claimed to have brought in close to 10 crores, while satellite rights brought in an additional 20 crores. The total revenue now approaches 60 crores.
When it comes to box office, Nani's shyam singha roy was sold for over 20 crore, while his most recent film, Ante Sundaraniki, made close to 30 crores. Even though the box office earnings of these two weren't particularly outstanding compared to the investments made, because "Dasara" is a mainstream movie, distributors and exhibitors are now prepared to increase this commitment. The film's producers are reportedly selling it for roughly 40 crores in telugu states for a theatrical distribution. That brings the total revenue from Nani's dasara to around 100 crores, which is significant for a hero who has yet to produce the biggest commercial hit.
