BJP playing divide-and-rule game with Jagan, KCR?
There is now a strong likelihood that jagan may return KCR's favour during Telangana's upcoming assembly elections. In addition to providing financial support, jagan might persuade the Andhra settlers—who are either Y S Rajasekhar Reddy's beneficiaries or members of the YSRCP cadre in Telangana—to support the TRS. The leadership of the bharatiya janata party has this suspicion. The bjp leadership is aware that jagan and kcr are still close friends, despite the fact that both chief ministers appear to be keeping each other apart and both state administrations look to be at odds over interstate disputes.
Sources claim that the bjp national leadership is attempting to split and conquer jagan and KCR. The bjp government at the Center has started giving the jagan government a lot of favours while criticising the kcr government on a variety of topics, including power trading, the refusal of more loans to telangana, the suspension of further lending to the kaleshwaram project, etc. It has liberally permitted the jagan administration to obtain additional loans, given ap permission to build a bulk drug park, authorised power trading despite significant debt owed to power generators, etc.
