The hashtag #BoycottBrahmastra and alia bhatt are trending on twitter days before the premiere of Brahmastra, but not for the right reasons. alia bhatt is in hot water with twitter users ahead of the release of her upcoming movie with husband ranbir kapoor because those people found her latest statement offensive and began using the hashtag "boycott" once more in reaction.
According to reports, alia bhatt declared in an interview that "if you don't like me, don't watch me," which infuriated online users. Following this, the hashtags #boycottaliabhatt, #boycottbrahmastra, and #boycottbollywood began to trend.
For the uninitiated, alia bhatt discussed star kids in an interview with Mid-Day. In response to a question regarding trolling, alia bhatt said, "I felt that my films were the only way I could end the discourse. Don't answer, and don't feel awful about it. Naturally, I felt bad. However, feeling sorry for yourself is a little price to pay for the work you are admired and appreciated for. I produced a movie similar to Gangubai. Who's laughing the loudest now? Until I deliver my next flop, at least. I'm currently giggling!"
