Hollywood Re-Releases To Trouble Bollywood In Sep

SIBY JEYYA
Bollywood is currently having a lot of problems due to the poor performances of expensive movies and the strong performances of South Asian movies. Movies that were expected to shake up Bollywood, including Shamshera, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Raksha Bandhan, have failed miserably at the box office. The entire hindi film industry is also anticipating the september releases of Hrithik Roshan's vikram Vedha and Brahmastra Part 1 starring Ranbir Kapoor.

Despite the success of the telugu film karthikeya 2—which has already hurt people like Laal Singh Chaddha—September will still pose some challenges for the hindi box office, this time coming from Hollywood. While Vijay Devarakonda's Liger opens in theatres on august 25, two hollywood movies that have already amassed enormous box office receipts are being rereleased in Hindi.

While "Spiderman: No Way Home" returns to theatres on september 2nd, "Avatar" will be rereleased on september 23rd. Avatar: The Way Of Water is scheduled for release on december 16th, 2022. If these two continue to perform well at the box office, they will undoubtedly eat into the money before Ranbir's Brahmastra (Sept. 9) and after Hrithik-Vikram Saif's Vedha (Sep 30th). Let's just wait and see if any movie wins the battle.
