TDP taking it easy with Pawan's options?

The telugu desam party leadership appears to have brushed aside power star and Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan's request for an alliance in Andhra Pradesh's upcoming assembly elections. The tdp first expressed interest in forming an alliance with the Jana Sena party, and party head N chandrababu naidu even claimed that the TDP's affection for the Jana Sena was one-sided (towards Jana Sena).

A few weeks later, he even stated that his party was willing to make some concessions to accommodate others in order to achieve the common goal of toppling the state's jagan Mohan reddy government. However, the yellow party is reconsidering after pawan kalyan delivered a speech effectively dictating terms to the tdp, suggesting that the latter must fall down a few notches as part of the partnership. The TDP's senior politburo member told a national media correspondent that the party would not react on Pawan Kalyan's offer.

"For the time being, we don't want to respond to his suggestion," he stated. The tdp leadership appears to have arrived to the conclusion that it can fight the upcoming elections on its own, without the help of the Jana Sena or the BJP. Naidu is well aware that the bjp will not form a direct or indirect coalition with the tdp, making Pawan's other two options useless. As a result, the tdp has decided to ease off on Pawan. It was clear from senior tdp leader Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary's post, in which he chastised pawan kalyan for making unrealistic demands.
