Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Review - Double the Entertainment
Everything is cranked up in the 2022 return to the world of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The jokes seem like they came straight from a stand-up routine, the music has an EDM synthesiser, and the stars are, of course, kartik aaryan and kiara advani, two actors who scream modern-day showbiz celebrity. The setting is once again a haveli, and Manjulika is still present. It's been 18 years since she was imprisoned in that room with no way out and no one to set her free.
There are numerous references and throwbacks to the original BB, which starred akshay kumar, vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, and Ameesha Patel, among others. However, comparing Kartik to Akshay is pointless because it would detract from the overall enjoyment of the film. Another noteworthy element is the visual effects and CGI, which contribute significantly to the film's overall appearance.
On the other hand, BB2 struggles to maintain cohesion and maintain your attention. The text is inconsistent, and the discordant background score and jazzy special effects sometimes obscure minor moments between characters. Logic and reason have no place in the film, which is centred on superstition and black magic. Furthermore, this is not a family film. The scenes showing black magic and witchcraft are scary and brutal.
