Bharathidasan Grandson writes Letter to CM Stalin
Bharathi Dasan's grandson Bharathi has written to tamil Nadu's chief minister, seeking that a mani mandapam and library be built for the rescuer Pavendar and that his birthday, april 29, be declared tamil Language Day. In a letter to stalin today, tamil Nadu chief minister Bharathi said: "On april 29, the revolutionary Bavender Bharathidasan celebrates his 132nd birthday. Bharathidasan's memorial day is on the 21st. Despite his pondicherry birth, Bharathidasan has written extensively on the tamil language, tamil race, Dravidian supremacy, and logic. During his latter days, Bavender lived in Thiyagaraya Nagar, Chennai.
It was there that he died. On behalf of the state, a statue has been constructed in his honour. Bharathidasan university exists. In his honour, he receives the highest honour. However, the revolutionary Bavender Bharathidasan Mani Mandapam should be built in Chennai, tamil Nadu's capital, in such a way that he is glorious and valuable to the people. On his 29th birthday, it would be proper to declare that a mani mandapam will be built for him in Chennai.
Similarly, the tamil Nadu government should establish the world's largest library in Bavender Bharathidasan's honour. The library could be established in the districts of Villupuram and Cuddalore, which are close to pondicherry, where Bharathidasan lived. The 29th of april, the birthday of Bharathidasan, a longtime supporter of tamil, should be designated as tamil Language Day. "This is tamil scholars' wish," he wrote in the letter.
