Content Matters for Pan-India Movies, Not Actors

Pan-India films have become a phenomenon in indian cinema with the success of the Baahubali franchise. Many South indian filmmakers, in particular, are making multilingual versions of their big-budget films and presenting them as pan-India pictures. Some of them are going one step further and hiring bollywood and other languages performers in order to establish a pan-India reputation.
Non-Telugu actors like Bhaagyashree, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, and Jayaraam, for example, have appeared in Radhe Shyam. It was unnecessary to bring in such famous names for minor roles in the film. In the end, their characters were unimportant, and the film was a box office bomb. Take, for example, Pushpa, which was a tremendous hit in North india despite the absence of a bollywood actor. The same was true for Chapter 1 of KGF: As a result, the content, not the star cast, is what matters at the end of the day.
It is past time for some filmmakers to see this and begin prioritising good writers over other language performers. Even upcoming actors are making noises due to the content and before kgf no one doesn't even remember a hero called yash and now he is a remarkable hero in the indian cine industry.
