About 3,000-year-old cobblestones and the Chola 'charter' have been discovered near Tirupati. 3000 year old cobblestones and a 'charcoal stone' going back to the Chola dynasty have been discovered on a hill near Andiyapanur in Tirupattur district. Tirupattur District, Dua Nenja College, tamil Department, Ph.D. A. Prabhu, and research students Santosh and Saravanan are regularly involved in research work at several locations in tirupati district.

In this approach, the researchers discovered a number of historical clues, which they are now sharing with the public. Accordingly, they discovered a 3,000-year-old black stone and a 'charcoal stone' dating from the Chola period while excavating the hill at Urmedu hamlet near Andiyapanur near tirupati and some discovery is made.

"Many historical traces have previously been uncovered and documented in Andiyapanur, tirupati district," Dr. A. Prabhu remarked. After that, our crew learned about a spot called 'Chinnapandavar Kuttai' near 'Urmedu,' which is presently 6 kilometres from Andiyapanur. We went there right away. We discovered more than 15 nymphs as we searched the tiny hill nearby. We also discovered a boundary stone (choolakal) along the river that flows through the area, which the locals refer to as "Sasanakkal."
