Following the conclusion of the cabinet meeting, all of the ministers submitted their resignation letters to the Chief Minister.
Perni Venkatramaiah, the outgoing Information and Public Relations minister, briefed the media: "Today, all 24 ministers in the Y.S. jagan Mohan reddy cabinet resigned. This reflects the Chief Minister's desire to strengthen the party's apparatus by delegating crucial duties to experienced leaders in order to position the party for victory in the 2024 assembly elections. All of the ministers have enthusiastically endorsed the Chief Minister's decision."
According to Venkatramaiah, the chief minister made it clear when forming the cabinet in 2019 that a new cabinet will be formed after two and a half years. "In fact, the ministers were given some leeway," he explained. According to another outgoing minister, Kodali Nani, the chief minister intimated that some of the exiting ministers would be retained, while the services of the others would be used for the party's benefit. The goal of the whole effort, according to jagan Mohan reddy, who is also the ysr congress party (YSRCP) chairman, is to bring the party back to power.
