6,000 metric tonnes of paste for mosques to make fasting porridge during Ramadan
In order to manufacture fasting porridge for Muslims fasting during the month of Ramadan, tamil Nadu chief minister MK stalin instructed mosques to supply pasteurisation only on days when fasting is performed under the whole permit in 2022. In this regard, the tamil Nadu government has released the following statement: During the holy month of Ramadan, the tamil Nadu government distributes paste to mosques in order to produce fasting porridge for fasting Muslims. Islamists have called for rice to be provided to mosques in 2022 to make fasting porridge during Ramadan, as they have in past years.
In the year 2022, MK stalin, the chief minister of tamil Nadu, authorised mosques to give pasteurisation only on fasting days under the whole permit to prepare fasting porridge for fasting Muslims during Ramadan.
The district administration chiefs have been given specific orders to offer total clearance for the rice required for mosques. Permits will be issued for a total of 6,000 metric tonnes of rice to be distributed to mosques. As a result, the government will have to pay an extra 13 crore 53 lakh 60 thousand rupees.
