In a case involving a Rs 10 lakh check scam, a Karur fast-track court has granted bail to a former MLA. K. Ramachandran is from Karur Andango's east Ambal. S. Kamaraj, a former Krishnarayanapuram MLA. In 2011, he won from the AIADMK, but before the last election, he quit the AIADMK and joined the DMK. On january 20, 2020, he gave a promissory note for family and business costs and received a loan of Rs 10 lakh at a rate of Rs 1 interest.
Kamaraj, on the other hand, did not repay the principal or interest.
