Who should be blamed for the Poor Quality of Roads?
A city's development is built on its roadways. However, in Madurai, that foundation is shown to be twisted. 258 new roads were recently constructed at a cost of Rs 40 crore. However, it is unknown where the work will take place or where the new roads will be constructed. However, the roads on the back side of the city are so terrible that they are impassable in all portions of the city.
The entire Vandiyur Kanmai Lake road from the Cattle vegetable market to Apollo has been damaged. This road is bustling with heavy vehicles, school vehicles, buses and cars carrying vegetables and fruits to the market 24 hours a day.
There are a lot of ambulances on this road because there are so many private hospitals. However, there are explosions and crowds across the street. vehicles crawl up and down the pits on this road. If travelling in the middle of the road is not practicable, the corporation's personnel have excavated pits for various operations without properly closing them. As a result, automobiles parked along the roadside could not be parked. Accidents happen when a car is left on the side of the road owing to a buildup of dirt, sand, and stones.
