It's no wonder that directors want to distribute old and new films starring an actor who had a hit in a different language. Following the huge success of Allu Arjun's Pushpa, attempts have recently been made to release ala vaikunthapurramloo in Bollywood. Now, it appears that producers are attempting to cash in on kannada star Dhananjaya's unexpected popularity in Telugu.

With his performance as Jaali reddy in Pushpa, the performer became well-known in India. His karnataka flick Badava Rascal is now preparing for a telugu premiere. Guru Shankar's movie won favourable reviews and fared well at the box office when it was published for Christmas. The film will be released in telugu by Daali Pictures and Rizwan Productions in collaboration. Will Pushpa's popularity for Dhananjaya help Badava Rascal lure telugu audiences to the cinemas?

Badava Rascal was released theatrically on december 24 of last year and was a box office success. "Badava Rascal will always hold a special place for two primary reasons: one, it was my native production, and second, I got to work with a fantastic crew." "It's a storey about love and survival that also touches on delicate subjects like poverty in the country," dhananjay remarked.
