The tamil Nadu government, according to PMK founder Ramdoss, should explain the status of the NEET exemption bill to the public. In a statement issued he said, The bill seeking an exemption from NEET examination for admission to medical studies in tamil Nadu has been passed in the assembly and ends 100 days from tomorrow. However, there are no indications that the NEET Exemption Bill would be passed. students do not benefit from such ambiguity.

The bill to introduce student admission on the basis of Class 12 general examination marks was introduced in the tamil Nadu Legislative assembly on september 13 and passed. students studying medicine in government and private medical colleges in tamil Nadu should be exempted from the NEET examination for admission. With the exception of the BJP, all parties voted in favor of the bill. Apart from the passage of the Bill, there has been little movement in this area.

The Act exempting tamil Nadu from the NEET examination has been in effect for 100 days. This is a long time in comparison to the time it takes for a law to become effective. tamil Nadu has previously passed laws to exempt students from taking admission exams. In tamil Nadu, the first entrance test for medical and engineering courses was held in 1984. On december 7, 2006, the Legislature passed a law repealing it, which was published in the Gazette. The President signed the bill on march 3, 2007, after it had been passed by the governor and Union Ministries. All of these operations took a total of 86 days to complete. This is the ideal moment.
