IT Raids at 69 places belonging to Former Minister Thangamani
Former AIADMK ministers MR Vijayabaskar, C Vijayabaskar, SB Velumani, and KC Veeramani's homes had previously been raided. During the raids, a huge amount of documents were reportedly taken. Thangamani, a former AIADMK electricity minister, was detained in the meantime. Anti-corruption officers are raiding numerous properties that he owns. More than 60 locales, including Namakkal, Erode, and Chennai, are participating in the test. It's also possible that the number of test sites will grow.
The DVAC has filed a case against former electricity minister Thangamani. Searches began at 69 different locations. In Chennai, there are 14 people. Vellore, Salem, Karur, Namaakkal, Tirupur, and coimbatore are among the other places. There is also one location in karnataka and two locations in Andhra Pradesh. The raid will start at 6:30 a.m. at Thangamani residence in Alampalaiyam, near to Namakkal district school. The Anti-Corruption Department has filed a complaint against former minister Thangamani for allegedly adding extra property to his income.
So far, no comments have been made regarding these raids and ADMK Ministers are in shock as it has been quite common for all the ADMK minister residences and their places are being raided ever since DMK came to rule.
