The air Force team thanked the villagers who helped during the helicopter crash!!!

The air Force thanked the villagers for their assistance during the accident. In addition, the villagers were provided with groceries including rice and pulses. Also, certificates were issued to those involved in the rescue operation. commander of the 3rd Battalion Bipin Rawat, his wife, and 12 other army officers traveled in a Mi-17V5 helicopter of the 3rd Battalion at the Sulur air Force Base to attend the graduation ceremony of the Coonoor Wellington Military Training college in the Nilgiris District.

The helicopter crashed into a nearby forest and burst into flames while flying out of the air at Nanjappa Chattram, near the Coonoor Military Training College Malebennur police station.

Upon knowing of the incident, the police rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation with the help of the public. After the rescue operation, it was revealed that Brigadier General Bipin Rawat, his wife, and 11 other army officers were killed in the helicopter crash. Only the plane's group captain varun Singh has been rescued alive and is currently in intensive care. 

Following this, prime minister Modi and Defense minister Rajnath Singh paid their respects to the bodies of 13 persons, including Chief of army Bipin Rawat, at the delhi air Force Airport. The bodies of Bipin Rawat and his wife were taken to his home in the Kamaraj Marg residence, delhi at 11:00 am today. Placed there for the tribute of relatives, friends, and the public. The funeral procession then began at 2 p.m. Subsequently, at 5 pm, Bipin Rawat and his wife's body was cremated with full state honors in the Brar Square Cemetery, where 17-Gun salute.

On behalf of the air Force, the villagers were thanked for their assistance during the helicopter crash. The indian air Force (IAF) handed over groceries such as rice, pulses, salt, and sugar to the villagers of Nanchappa Chattram who were involved in the rescue operation during the helicopter crash in Coonoor. Certificates of appreciation were also presented to those involved in the rescue operation on behalf of the indian air Force.
