If children use the stairwells on government buses, the department of transportation has threatened to take action against the driver and conductor. The decision was made to prevent fatalities on stairwells, according to the Department of Transportation. As a result, school and college students, as well as bus drivers, must ensure that passengers securely board and exit the vehicle. Similarly, conductors should make sure that there is enough space on the bus so that passengers do not have to stand on the stairs.

The department of transportation has stated that if the number of passengers on a bus route is excessive, they should notify higher authorities so that additional buses can be operated on that route. It has been learned that all Transport Branch Managers have received a circular from the Transport Department in this regard. Videos of high school and college students traveling dangerously with the intention of loitering on trains and buses have recently gone viral on social media.

The department of transportation has reportedly warned that if students use the stairwells on government buses, action will be taken against the driver and conductor. This notice, on the other hand, will put pressure on the driver who is currently on duty. Instead, social activists have advocated for more buses to be routed through congested areas.
