Kodanad Murder - Jayalalitha Driver's Wife Enquired!
Police questioned the wife of Late cm Jayalalitha's car driver who died in an accident in connection with the Kodanad robbery and murder case. A robbery attempt took place on april 24, 2017, at Kodanadu Estate in the Nilgiris district and in this robbery, estate guard Ombakadur (50) was brutally killed. Nilgiris district police arrested Saiyan, Valayaru Manoj, Santosh Sami, Deepu, Satheesan, Udayakumar, Jijin Joy, Jamsir Ali, Manoj Sami, and Kutty alias Pijin in connection with the incident.
Kanagaraj, the driver of the car involved in the case, was killed in a road accident a few days after the incident and it was found suspicious. The Kodanadu murder and robbery case is being heard in the Nilgiris district Court, following the change of government in tamil Nadu, the Kodanad murder and robbery trial got heated up again. Saiyan and Kanagaraj's brother Danapal was re-investigated by the police and it created a stir.
In this context, the personal police led by an inspector arrived in coimbatore to investigate the case. Kanagaraj's wife, who died in the accident, was kept in a secret place in coimbatore and interrogated by the personnel. They inquired about various questions including how kanagaraj died, whether he had said anything about the case and who were the persons who met him before the incident. Further, the police investigated whether the information provided by Kanagaraj's brother during the interrogation was in line with the information obtained during the interrogation.
