Minister Ma Subramanian said that additional vaccines have been received from the central government due to the excellent performance of the government of tamil Nadu in administering the vaccine and also the vaccine wastage has been reduced considerably. Govt Vaccination Special Camp for Professors and students of Colleges in Metropolitan Corporation of chennai Subramanian started yesterday evening at Nandanam government Men's Arts College.
Speaking to the press, Ma. Subramanian said, "In tamil Nadu, on the advice of the chief minister Stalin, more attention is being paid to vaccinating people from all walks of life and this was followed by the launch of a special vaccination camp for teachers in schools yesterday. The chief minister has directed to set up special camps to provide vaccination to the professors and students in the colleges as the colleges are to be started from the following September
and accordingly, a vaccination camp for teachers and students at Nandanam Men's Arts college in chennai has been started by the minister of Higher Education. tamil Nadu received an additional 17 lakh vaccines in July and an additional 22 lakh in august from the central government due to the government of tamil Nadu's excellent performance in vaccination as tamil Nadu has reduced the wastage of vaccines considerably."
