Suriya's Production House Involved in Cheating?
The 2D Production house company has issued a warning following the revelation of a scam in the name of 2D Entertainment Pvt Ltd, owned by tiger Surya and someone, claiming to be a representative of 2D Entertainment, created a new email address and extorted money from some in the name of casting.
2D Entertainment posted a statement regarding this online scam and they said, "It has been revealed that a fraudulent person has created a fake e-mail address in the name of 2dentertainment.gokul@gmail.com using the name and logo of 2D Entertainment and right now he is cheating some people and extorting money from them by offering them false hopes.
2D Entertainment does not directly conduct such casting and our casting is all done by the team of directors of the respective film, in their offices, and at any stage of time, We do not charge any fees for casting purposes.
2D Entertainment has lodged a complaint with the police against the fraudster for misusing the name and logo of 2D Entertainment to try to defraud innocent people and no one should share their personal details like this without checking the e-mails that say cast selection. We urge everyone to be extra careful who gets such mails from that particular Gmail id which we have mentioned."
