Recently, Several twitter accounts in india are being suspended and some of them are even banned and this has been a common story these days. The twitter company claims that the account will be disabled for violating its rules. But the opposition parties are blaming the Union government behind all of these. Twitter has been a social networking site used by people from all walks of life. In india alone, 1.88 crore people use Twitter. Globally, india ranks 3rd in twitter usage following the USA and Japan. An account will be disabled for 24 hours if misinformation is spread, hate speech, controversial posts, photos, and videos are posted. Even if an account is suspected to have been hacked it will be suspended until it is recovered.
Those profile accounts will be disabled even if the account operates in violation of all the twitter rules. Accounts will be suspended, either temporarily or permanently, for misconduct and there are zero changes in this policy. However, one can make a further appeal if their account is suspended by twitter company and they can restore the account if they find their appeal is legit.
