Director shocks with Rs.36,000 Electricity Bill
Before DMK coming to the throne, in their election campaign, they have promised to regulate electricity tariffs and they also promised that electricity Bills would be calculated every month instead of once in two months. Now, director Thangar Bachan has requested tamil Nadu chief minister to implement the promise and regulate the electricity tariff system as it is a huge burden on the common people.
He also confessed that he was shocked himself as he paid Rs.36,000 as electricity Bill. Regarding this, he said, "Government employees are paid on a regular monthly basis and that too without even a single day's delay! But the electricity bill is calculated only once in two months. I should have paid only 16,000 Rupees if calculated monthly.
But last month I paid 36 thousand rupees for the electricity bill alone and this has caused me a huge burden. In this case, I am afraid to count the next month's electricity bill now itself. If the cost of a home's electricity bill is so high then you don't know how to cope with other household expenses. If the next electricity bill is paid in the same way, I can't even remember how many families in tamil Nadu will be able to afford it."
