Ashwin speaks on Harassment issue at School
The chennai police arrested commerce teacher Rajagapolan from Padma Seshadri bala Bhavan in kk nagar, after students and alumni accused him of sexual harassment. Rajagopalan had allegedly touched female students inappropriately in school while making derogatory comments about women and texted inappropriate messages to his students during online classes.
The issue had gone viral and DMK mp kanimozhi came to the rescue and she ensured he got arrested. He was taken to custody after an inquiry by the police. Now, cricket player Ravichandran Ashwin has taken twitter to share his views and thoughts regarding this issue. He tweeted, "Been a couple of disturbing nights, not only as an old student of PSBB but also as a father of 2 young girls.
Rajagopalan is one name that’s come out today, but to stop such incidences all around us in the future, we need to act and need a complete overhaul of the system." singer chinmayi also revealed there are several sexual predators who are not caught red-handed and still they are prevailing in the society wearing masks.
