The number of COVID-19 cases in the country has shown a huge rise for the past few days and various Governments have started to impose lockdown and curfews to control the spread. Even andhra pradesh chief minister YS jagan mohan reddy imposed a night curfew on the state. Now, telangana government has imposed a night curfew.
A review meeting has been conducted to control the spread of the deadly virus and now a night curfew has been imposed in the state for the period from 9 pm to 5 am and this will be effective until april 30, 2021. This night curfew was imposed as a preventive measure to control the spread of COVID-19. Movement of all persons is prohibited from 9 pm onwards except few prominent persons.
All officers, firms, shops, establishments, restaurants will be closed before 8 pm. The only exceptions are hospitals, diagnostic labs, pharmacies, and those shops which deal with the supply of essential services. Any violation of the instructions shall result in prosecution under Sections 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act 2005 and Section 188 of IPC and other applicable laws.
