Shivaji Ganesan is acclaimed as the actor Tilak by all for his grammar for acting in tamil cinema. Today is his 93rd birthday so check out a special collection about him. Shivaji Ganesan is still a pioneer and guide to many who still flock to Kodambakkam with acting dreams. Born as Ganesan on october 1, 1928, in the village of Surakkottai near Thanjavur, he was inspired by acting from an early age and began to take on all kinds of roles in stage plays.


Father Periyar was amazed by his performance as Chhatrapati shivaji in the play "Shivaji Kanda Hindu Rajyam" written by Grandfather Anna and called him 'Shivaji' Ganesan 'on stage. The name that Periyar uttered on that day later became a Ninga chapter in the history of tamil cinema.


When we pronounce the names of freedom fighters like WAC, Bhagat Singh, Tirupur Kumaran, Netaji subhash chandra Bose, the data-face that appears on our memory screen will be his. Similarly, he has given life to the imagination by playing the roles of Lord Shiva, Lord krishna and Lord Murugan.


The colossal shivaji Ganesan in many films as a hero, in the latter part of his life he acted with the same charm in character roles as Thevar Magan, Padiyappa, Once More. Many years after his disappearance, the digitally released Karnan film was widely acclaimed for its achievements.


Shivaji Ganesan was the first indian to receive the title of Chevalier including the Kalaimamani Award, the padma shri Award, the Padma bhushan Award and the Dada Sakeb Phalke Award. Recently, the tamil Nadu government has announced that his birthday will be celebrated as a state festival.


After his appearance on screen, his influence continues to be felt by all the actors who came to act, whether they knew it or not. Thus the great artist shivaji Ganesan will live forever through the art of acting.
