While Google's origin dates back to 1997, the business was formally founded on september 27, 1998.
Sergey Brin, a graduate student at Stanford university at the time, met Larry Page, another google co-founder, who was contemplating Stanford for graduate school at the time. The two google co-founders began creating a search engine in their dorm rooms the next year and producing their prototype. google Inc. was established in 1998.
Google stated in a blog post about the new Doodle, "Every day, there are billions of searches on google in more than 150 languages across the world."
