'Mother Teresa birth anniversary' ministers flow tributes!
On august 26, 1910, mother teresa, better known as Saint Teresa of Calcutta, was born. The Nobel Peace prize laureate's 111th birthday was celebrated this year. In 1948, Teresa began helping the impoverished. She also had some rudimentary medical training at the Medical Mission Sisters in Patna. Her feast day was september 5, 1997, and she was beatified on october 19, 2002. Teresa was known across the world for her humanitarian efforts. Her devotion to the underprivileged, regardless of faith, earned her a state funeral from the indian government.
Rajasthan's chief minister, ashok Gehlot, also commemorated the event on Twitter. "On the occasion of #MotherTeresa's birth anniversary, we pay our respects to her. Her entire life was devoted to helping the poor, impoverished, and ill. Her kindness and unselfish devotion for the greater good of humanity will always be an inspiration "Gehlot sent out a tweet.
Arvind kejriwal, the delhi chief minister, commented on his experience working with the founder of the Missionaries of Charity. “I volunteered at Mother Teresa's ashram in Kalighat after working for Tata Steel. It was a spiritual encounter that motivated me to dedicate my life to serving humanity. On her birthday, I join the millions of people whose lives she influenced in remembering her,” kejriwal said on Thursday.
