BMW Motorrad has officially launched the BMW S 1000 R in india at a price of ₹19.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The hyper-naked roadster, which arrives as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), is now open for bookings across all bmw Motorrad dealerships in the country.

Engine & Performance

The new S 1000 R is powered by a 999cc inline four-cylinder engine, delivering 172 bhp of peak power and 114 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless performance. With BMW’s engineering DNA, the bike promises an exhilarating mix of raw power and everyday usability.

Design & Styling

Carrying forward the aggressive styling of BMW’s “S” family, the S 1000 R features a muscular fuel tank, sharp LED headlamps, and a minimalist tail section. Its lightweight frame and dynamic roadster stance make it equally suited for urban rides and track days.
