Samantha, a leading actress in South India, today opened a Maangalya shopping mall in kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The city of kadapa itself came to a standstill for a few minutes as thousands of young people gathered to see her. The textile shop management had heavily advertised Samantha's visit on opening. Thus a large number of her fans gathered there to see Samantha. At this point, her fans cheered when they saw samantha who arrived to open the store. samantha, who continued to open the textile shop, spoke to the fans and moved on from there.

Along with samantha, andhra pradesh Deputy cm Amjad Pasha and kadapa Mayor suresh Babu together inaugurated the shopping mall opening ceremony. Actress samantha is currently starring in the tamil film 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan. Samantha continues to admit to pictures after her marriage broke down. Samantha's next lead role is in the film Yashoda. Directed by hari and Hareesh, the film is produced by sridevi movies Sivalenka krishna Prasad,  Music by Mani Sharma, Cinematography by M. Sukumar. The heroine-centric film is being made into a Pan-India film in five languages namely Telugu, tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
