Virata Parvam Is My First Love Story
The next significant release is Virata Parvam. On the 17th of this month, the film featuring Rana and sai pallavi will be released. Meanwhile, the crew is pushing the film actively. Rana took part in a Q&A session with scribes before of the release. Excerpts from the interview.
What does it feel like to travel from Aranya to Virata Parvam?
There seemed to be a link between myself and the woods. For the previous four years, I had primarily shot in the bush. The setting of virata parvam is set in the 1990s. The Naxalite Movement's atmosphere and conditions were shown in a very realistic manner. It's the first time I've written a love story. It's a very strong bond. It demonstrates the lengths to which vennela will go for her love. It had a profound effect on me. When we listen to a story, we rarely feel heavy. The enormous heaviness was evident. This is the first time I've heard a story like this.
How does Ravanna, a member of the movement, find love?
Naxals, on the other hand, leave everything behind and strive for the betterment of society. Ravanna has no personal motive till she comes into his life.
What effect do Naxals have on you?
Only film allows you to travel back in time. We only have access to the most recent news that we read in newspapers or see on television. However, we have no information on their way of life in the forest, such as where they live and what they do. The backstories of naxals aren't discussed much in Virata Parvam. Ravanna's backstory will be revealed through conversations amongst various individuals. Everything is overshadowed by the love narrative.
